Constant Contact Text-to-Join

If you use Constant Contact, please take note that they will be decommissioning their Text-to-Join (TTJ) features on March 30, 2023. This was a feature which allowed customers to sign up for email mailing lists by text message.
They made this change as their TTJ feature was using shared short codes that could be used by spammers so it is no longer in compliance with mobile carriers. They are in the process of working on a replacement for the TTJ feature to be made available through their SMS offering in the future.
If you currently have subscribers that sign up via Text-to-Join you will want to remove any keywords or shortcodes from your emails, social media and marketing materials.
